Default headlight options

I am looking to replace my headlamp setup. I think that the stock one is a little outdated looking. I can't seem to find one that I like. I would like one that looks like a new wr, klx, ktm style. It has to have a highbeam but I really don't care if it is DOT approved. Any suggestions. anyone know what headlight Patrick was running, I can't seem to find any that look like that either.

Sorry, Ive been searching lately and havent really found one I could recommend. I would like to find one what sweeps back and to the sidesin more of a uniform pattern that is notso square-shaped.One made by UFO had the shape I was looking for, but it -like so many other after marker lights- is only 35W. That's a big step backward in brightness when compared to our 55/60W stock light. I won't compromise brightness for style. I also found an after-market shroud for the stock light, but I don't feel it enhances the looks of the bike.

Remember, that watts, is just the amount of power that it is going to consume. You want something that compares Lumens, or Candle power.
An Incandescent(regular light bulb) will be lit at a much higher wattage than a flourescent giving off the same amount of light, or lumens per square foot.

Also the stock glass headlight weights a ton, a newer plastic one would be alot lighter... id be scared about the quality of the beam... i ride at night a good bit...

Yeah, it wouldn't be so bad if all the accessories behind it comes with it!
