Default Headlight delete mod

Since i have a 6 inch led bar just for night time use, i thought i would see how a head light delete would look for a winter project. I plan on running two 50 lumen led markers for running lights

Is that a number plate to replace the headlight assembly?
Sorry for the lack of visual perception.

I was thinking of replacing my head light with a LED or LED lightbar. Have you guys run into problems riding at night on the road from the police?
From what I see not much is DOT approved, but my feeling is I don't think anyone cares.

Yea it is a number plate off a kx 450 and im planning on grafting that where the headlight was using the stock housing since i like that looks. Im either gonna run 2-4 led marker lights or get a cheap fog cube and make a mount off the headlight bolts. Once i get my bike back from the shop getting the 351 installed ill put up more pictures and ideas. This just came about because my headlight is only used for a running light during the day since i have a 2700 lumen led bar for night time usage. Winter project to keep me from getting bored.

Ive never had an issue with my led bar at night from cops and i passed sheriffs, troopers, and local pd with it on during the day in heavy traffic

Your more fortunate than in my area. The cops here have a quota to meet, that led light bar would be like a signal beacon for me to get a equipment infraction!

Tbh.... It's really not that much harder than doing a 2 stroke top end. I took my time over two nights n installed it in my garage with a factory service manual. I'm a 2 stroke fan too... If you were closer I'd help. The toughest part I thought was putting the second clip in the piston w/o dropping it into the crankcase or watching it fly behind something losing it. It's just remove n replace parts I swear!
