Default Handle Bar Mount for Cell Phone

Hey, I am looking into getting a handle bar mount for my cell phone. I want it to fit my KLX 250 and plan to do some on and offroad riding. Any suggestions on what I should get that is not going to break the bank?

I learned from my recent accident that the very best place for my cell phone is in my pocket. I was far enough way from my machine, and couldn't move, that it would be doing me no good on the handlebars or in a tank bag. I use an Ogio Flight Vest (my buddies call it the flak jacket) and it rides in there. May have to get another one as the paramedics cut the vest in half to get it off me.

The RAM Mount is the way to go! Very solid and reliable. I feel very comfortable with it holding my iPhone. The cradle that the phone sets in works great and can be rotated slightly.

Nothing sounds good about that. I am getting one of the bracelets that are marketed for cyclist (of which I am) so they no where to take my remains.

I was thinking about using the mount for GPS, internet radio and maybe some video of my rides. Also, wanted to add a 12 volt cig socket so I don't run out of juice...

Default That phone you didnt throw away

If you use your phone for GPS etc, you can use an old inactive phone kept on your person as a safety. As long as it is charged, you can make emergency calls without having an account on that phone. The trick is keeping it charged, but it doesnt have to be on until you need it.

This is what you want! Cheaper than quadlock, full aluminum, and its easier to lock your phone onto.

RAM is easy, but there are many others. Do a quick Amazon/Ebay search. I do recommend one that actually craps the four corners. The RAM X w/rubber band...sucks off road.
