Default Gloves and sizes

Ok, so I never wear gloves and lately when its cold I wish I had some. Do those fitment charts in the RockyMountain catalog work for most of the gloves or should I just get the biggest size so they actually fit? The chart shows me using a large but I am thinking to go with the XXLarge. What type are better to keep fingers warm and what kind are better for protection. Any kind that I should avoid altogether?
Thanks,
db

I hate buying things like parts and accessories at the dealers, cause you can always find them so much cheaper online, but gloves is my one exception. Its tough to get a great fitting glove without actually trying it on. So my advice,go to the dealer and try some on. JMO.

I guess its always best to try them...I see RM has some on closeout and they are inexpensive enough. I guess I will go with my gut and get the XXLarge if I take a chance. Too small is useless.
