Default Front sprocket brand

Any thoughts as to which make of sprocket is best? I`m looking for both a 13 and 15 tooth. I`ve seen a few different manufactures but I don`t want something that will wear too quickly. Some are as low as $15 but...cheap is cheap sometimes.

This is an area where an inexpensive JT sprocket in steel is about as good as anything else out there for the KLX. Spend your money for the perception of premium quality elsewhere on the bike. I've always kept a service log on my bikes over the years, and frankly I couldn't see a mileage difference in service life between the JT sprockets, Sun sprockets, OEM, and just about anything else. During the decades when I raced enduros, I even tried some of those highly touted alloy sprocket sets to get that perceived "edge" in my drivetrain. One good mud run and even the best of them was toast. Get steel and you're good to go.

I have a PBI 13 and Sunstar 15 countersprockets. No complaints with either. Paid $17 and $24 respectively.

45 and 49 tooth rear sprockets are JT.

I need a new 15 tooth. I think my current 15 is a PBI. My preference is Sunstar. I did a quick search yesterday and didn't find a Sunstar part number. Help me out here!

Thanks!
Ron
