anybody know of a good place to purchase new front fork guards for 06 kls250x also, if any other type will fit like kx.

Even the limited search engine on this site yielded this when I plugged in "Fork Guards". It's what many of us use.

I followed the instruction in the link above. It describes exactly what is needed. Much more durable than the stock guards.
