front brake hose...rubbing?

Does anyone else have this issue under braking or any other situation where the fork compresses a decent amount? I fixed it with dome creative drilling and zip ties...

I didn't drill, just a few zip ties fixed mine. I was out riding some very technical stuff and it was rubbing on the tire. I thought the front suspension was really soft. Bike is much quieter now.

Zip ties and/or tape can fix just about anything.

If you are talking about that round clamp the hose goes through, I pushed mine forward until it didn't touch, no more rub:)

WD-40 and Duct Tape

You can fix the world. If it's loose, duct tape. If it's stuck, WD-40!

I had one issue like this with my GPS receiver mounted on my handlebar. Everytime I'd do anything that compressed the front fork such as brake hard or cross a ditch or similar where the front forks dived, I heard a rubbing/grinding sound. It took me a little bit to figure out that the brake line was rising up and hitting my GPS and then was blocked from any further upward motion. The only think it could do after that is as the forks continued to dive, it would flex in the middle and flexed into the tire and the tread was rubbing the brake line making that sound. Since the movement of the brake line was hidden by the GPS receiver, it took me a little bit to figure this out. But no harm was done - I just repositioned the GPS reciever to once again give free movement to the brake line under fork compression and it stopped.

Yes I had the same problem, my clutch cable was just about worn through from rubbing on the brake line. I took it back to the dealer and they put a new cable on. The problem was caused because the cables were routed wrong.
