Front axle

Is there a nut missing or does the axle just thread into the fork? Txs, Dave

digitty you should check out the Big Woods 200 DS ride in Wabeno Wi. ( east of Rhinelander??) I don't think that's far from you Sept 29-30 couple hundred miles of trails, logging roads, and some "hero, single track, sections" thrown in Great time, which unfortunately I think I am missing this year.

Looking at the Bike Bandit site, I think you're right. I'm surprised they changed this element in the fork/front hub for the later KLX's. Maybe there's more difference than just reduced travel on the later fork than I first assumed.

Considering the number of differences between the '06/'07 and the '09 -> newer I wish everyone would mention the year of their bike with their posted question or even better their sig or profile.
