Default Frame Number

Hi all,
I was looking at the frame number on my D-tracker today and noticed something that might be different from the stateside, Canada and possibly the Aussie models.
Mine starts with LX250E..... I was wondering what the stateside numbers start with. I'm guessing that most of yours start with LX250H, but I figured I would get the 'straight skinny' from y'all. The actual model number for the D-tracker is KLX250M, which probably denotes Motard.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info.

I guess the numbering system isn't as straight forward as I thought. Hopefully there's someone lurking about that has the knowledge to decode these things. I find it strange that mine looks so totally different than the stateside Vins. Maybe that's why -when I originally tried to finance through a stateside credit union- they replied the the number I supplied was "not a Vin." I thought their would at least be a few similarities. Perhaps this is a unique chassis numbering requirement for the domestic Japanese market.
