Default Extended clutch cable

I have been through many pairs of bars busting my ***. Wanted to try fat bars. I got a riser adapter and when it was all said and done my clutch cable was too tight n barley long enough. I called up motion pro and had them make me an oem cable 2in longer than stock. Everything is the exact same(bends and heat shields) and was an easy replacement. Motion pro does excellent work and they are great people. The price was super reasonable as well. Shipping was also pretty fast bein they had to make the cable and then ship it. I would highly recommend them if anyone would like to run risers and higher bars.

Good to hear as I just changed to a higher bar and managed to reroute the clutch, a little snug but works. But I wasn't so lucky with the throttle cables, right now they are routed outside the forks, but I will be ordering all new cables from motion pro.

You could have used the Kawasaki KLX300 cable which is much cheaper, and factory length is 2" longer than KLX250s.
2" longer clutch cable (#54011-0009)

I used a random one I found in my collection, think it was from a KLR250, now using one from a KLR650 ('08 model) that is a about 4" longer.

still looking for throttle ones......

all for that but when you find NOS parts for cheap, then why not. I like motionpro. Although nice, some of it is pricey and many things are made overseas as well.

The industry won´t pay my bills. Even if I support them.
