but, i ended up finding a pair of klx250s wheels locally for $300 with very worn tires, so looks like it'll just need new tires...the wheels were perfect with no scratches surprisingly...he basically just used it to commute on...but, he swapped out for 17" sm wheels...

 

I think you got the better deal. Those wheels on ebay look clean, but its a real PITA when you find out they're not straight and have to pay the 40$ shipping to return your $100 wheels...

I want another set for street tires, but I think my money would be better spent on a bore kit. Riding in the woods is too much fun!
