DynoJet Kit upgrade--Change needle and get smaller main jet?

So I decided to work on my Jet Kit upgrade today and I installed the needle, clips, washers. When it was time to change the main jet I got confused (STOCK MAIN JET IS 118, but the kit says to put in 116 with a stock exhaust in STAGE 1 HUH?

It all depends on what mods are done to your bike. If it is all stock try the smaller of what the kit sugests and make small adjustments from there.

Skip stage 1 and go to stage 2. And then open up the intake to advangte of the more avabile fuel.

I did stage 1 because i have stock exhaust and i took out snorkle, without the box is too loud.

I did the same. Went to stage 2 with the 124 main jet, KDX snorkle, and TwinAir filter.

Is there a big difference?
