Wanting to get away from those aggressive off-road tires and go to an all-terrain tire... Any suggestions?

 

I like the k270 and shinko 244s.

 

How much road riding you plan on doing compared to off road?

 

I ride 50/50. They perform "ok" in about every situation. that's what I was looking for. I was looking for something that can do everything. But also remember that they don't do good at anything.

 

I run on Pirelli Scorpion MT 90/AT and love them. Do a search for more threads on them.

 

My Dunlop D605 Adventure Motorcycle Tires were superb. I just mounted Tusk Dsport Adventure Tire set to try, but I can already tell I'll be wishing for the Dunlops.

On the CRF (for sale!), the IRC Trails GP 21F and Dunlop D605 rear were great. I just mounted Dunlop D606 set and can already tell that I wish that they were 605s.

 

I run the Kenda K270's on mine. They offer enough lug to chew through most terrain I encounter in the Smokies. Road manners are much better compared to a full-on trail tire.

 

I also run Kendra’s. Much better wear than the Shinkos. Of course like he been said there are compromises when you use a 50/50 tires

 

I have run D606 for years and love them. Great flat protection over the 605's. But I ride a ton of off road
