Default Dragone #19

I noticed you are running a Beet Nassert exaust system on your ZX10R. Where did you get it from?

I have a BN system on my D-tracker and thought they were only available in Japan. I will be installing some BN cams this winter and it would be cool to direct people tosomewhere stateside they could take a partnumber to iftheydecide they want the same cams.

I already know of someone who bought Japanese market Yoshimuracams for his KLX by taking the Japanese PNand model number to Yoshimura USA. The BN cams have a bit more int/exh cam overlap then the Yosh's, making the ACR unessesary. The Yoshimura camsgive you a labored sound when turning the engine over with the starter...not something I would want with our smallish battery.

Thanks

oh, I am happy with the system except for the slag in the Y pipe in their welding process. Otherwise a nice system.

I'll try to dig-up the number. BN sent them to me awhile back. Yeah a PM would have been better..I was just on roll..typing and posting in several threads.

Here are a couple of dyno runs. In the top chart, allcurves are at stock displacement. The blue line is the BNcam+FCR33. Red line is cam andrejettedCVK. CurveC (dark red) is all stock. These runs musthave been on a coldday with all of the stars aligned, but at least you can compare the before and after results.

The lower chart, top line, shows resultsof the BNcam+292cccylinder+FCR33. Now THAT'S what I'm talkin about! The other two curves areat stock displacement. It makes me wonder if boring to 331 is really worth it.

"D" does look pretty nice. Did I barely see the chart correctly? 282cc?

Nope, it's the stock KLX300 cylinder (292cc). That dyno printer just makes weird 9's and the conversion from TIF to JPEG had some loss.
