I took mine in. About 20 miles door to door.

Made me remember why I don't commute on it. People drive crazy! hahaaa

too late now...i'm already at work and the bike is in the garage.

 

I ride to work everyday in the summer...I switch off between the Harley n the KLX...my work is 7mi.away one way...ride on

 

I rode, but my bike is my daily so that's not special. It's raining, so the drivers are all moving super slow this morning. Blah. Coffee.

 

LOL!...yeah, CL, I don't get much enjoyment commuting on a motorcycle anymore either. Too many ignorant drivers, too much heat here, and too much pavement.

 

I'm on the KLX today. I'm almost always on a bike in the summer, but the KLX is quickly displacing the Suzuki Bandit as my go to ride. Didn't know it was "ride to work" day.

 

Yeah, I think the "too much pavement" thing is the big killer for me.. I fired her up, and for a split second I had the thought - "Yeah!! I'm going riding!!!"

Then I realized I had jeans on and a street jacket, and I was really heading to work and that made me one sad fella. The whole way in I was passing trail heads and wishing I could just make a turn and forget about work... But I didn't.

Maybe I'll leave early and hit a trail or two on the way home

 

i didnt realize it was ride to work day..... i rode saturday, does that count?

 

I rode the KLX 2 months ago does that count? What about the Honda, I rode that last week......ok I got nothing. Plus it was raining...plus I got a work truck now.....plus....plus..... LOL

 

We had thunder, lightning, and heavy rain this morning. Just couldn't bring myself to suit-up and get the bike all crappy in my muddy gravel driveway to the road....
I commute by bike plenty of other days; I figure I'm good for a rain-check.
