Default Dan Moto Exhaust?

Anybody here have the Dan Moto exhaust pipe on their KLX? I was looking at pipes on eBay and found those. They're like $160 shipped, or about half the price of the others.

I have a KLX300 system on there now, but with the 351, you can tell the bike is strangled by it. I have a quiet core in there, and even with it in, it's pretty loud. And it's deafeningly loud without it. So I need something better flowing that won't be as loud. I don't mind a low rumble. It's the higher-bitched "bark" sound that's annoying.

Which pipe are you looking at? Didn't see a KLX pipe on their website. Were you thinking of using the Ninja 300 pipe?
Got a link?

Exhaust Danmoto Off Road Kawasaki KLX 250 300 s R 94 13 1994 2013 OF11 | eBay

Since I have a KLX300 exhaust (and head pipe), this will fit.

I think that the biggest gain would be to upgrade the header pipe. The oe won't handle the added displacement. I use an FMF pipe(powerbomb) and a PC4 muffler. The FMF pipe was pretty loud but after adding the smaller baffle it's acceptable now. I think that based on the pics of this muffler it will probably be quite loud.

I'd be interested also to hear of anybody else's experience with the Dan Moto mufflers.

A good friend of mine put one on his 2013 CBR500R and it sounds pretty good. It made his note a little deeper but not a a whole lot louder. Decent product for the price but I dont think it compares to the fit and finish of the major brands.

I wouldn't buy anything built by dan888. We all know how cheap that guy is, and I wouldn't trust his product a bit.

Agreed! And delivery takes forever. I'm still waiting on a case saver.

I disagree 100%, I have the stock header and it's a torque SOB, I run out of rpm around 8.5k rpm, but why would I want to spin it any higher?
