250 vs. 300 header size

250 vs. 300 header size

Can anyone confirm that there is a diameter difference between the stock KLX250S and KLX300R headers? I just measured the O.D. of my 250 and it is just a bit under 1.25". What's the 300?

they're both identical; all that's different is the length of the 300 header is a bit longer and will not work on the 250S unless you have a 300 specific muffler as well.

Both the 250 and 300 are 1 1/4dia the 300 is about 1" longer. The black pipe is a full 300 system i got off ebay for like 75$ with one of my home made end caps on it.
