As a klr250 rider and now with my recently acquired 06 klx250 I'm looking at adding the kick start to my klx. I've read the thread here about installing one and I've been trying to find the best price locally and online for the 99999-0073 kick start kit. Best price so far including shipping was online from 2WheelPros. com for $320 shipped. The local dealers want over $400. I've also been considering trying to find a bottom half of a klx300 engine and using the parts off of that. I believe they are a direct swap, correct? For those of you that have done the kick start install what was the best place you sourced your parts? Thanks, Fred.
