Default Castle Rock

Calling Dave,.....Calling Dave from Longview, are you there? I'm coming down to do some work on my mom's van and I was wondering if you were going to the flat track races in Castle Rock. It sounds like a big deal, and since I have never been to a race of any kind including cars, bikes, horses or turtles and rats, I thought this would be a great chance for me to take it all in. The Saturday race starts at 7:00 PM and the Sunday race is at 1:00, I wish I had more time I could bring my bike down and we could do some exploring. Anyway I'll be there at the races, maybe I'll see you, here's my cell # in case you are going. I'll send you my cell in a PM. Later man.

Crap! This sucks Deej. I could have went to the races today, but I just now read your post(Sunday afternoon). I've sort of been neglecting this forum lately. I kind of got tired of the negetivity and bickering, I guess. When my boys were younger(5-6 years old), they raced race at Castle Rock on their Yamaha PW50, and KTM50. It was a lot of fun, but you wouldn't believe the unsportsmanlike conduct that goes on. I would be in the pits with my boys and see these other dads freaking out on their kids because they didn't win. It was pretty pathetic, and I almost got into it with some of those A'holes. We ended up getting out of it because of that. I believe this is the first race of the season, so maybe another time? I haven't been to a car race in years, but I see that they're having Outlaw races in Elma. Those are the little sprint cars with the big wing on top. Those are pretty cool to watch cause they have some crazy crashes. I've been thinking about heading up to one of those. Maybe we could meet up there sometime. Elmas probably aboout 1/2 way between Longview and Forks?

Hey, sounds like you and your mom patched things up. That's good to hear.

Later.
