Default Can you see in your mirrors

I have an 09 SF and I love it. The mirrors could be better, all I can see are my shoulders in them. Sunday I met with some sand in a curve and destroyed a mirror. (and my pride)

I need to replace them. The ones for the S model are round and I think I would like them, but can you see behind you? Price is the same for a replacement mirror on the S as the SF. I only ride black top, so woods type mirrors are out.

This is where the glass went..

All that was from me and my bike. Not much else hurt. Some scratches on the fender, one decal and clutch lever.

Actually the stock mirrors are not too bad, but I swapped mine out with some folding ones. Take the mirrors off and bend them out.

I can see fine here - spend a good deal of time watching my kids in them.

Thanks for the picture. I will just order new ones now that I have seen them. The stalks are a lot longer.

I bought an aftermarket pair the were lower, all I could see were my arms. They said I could return them.

The S ones do look like mickey mouse ears. I just want to keep an eye on the idiot behind me.

I have used the S mirrors and the SF mirrrors on both modles & a couple other crappy aftermarkets. I highly prefer the SF mirrors.
Cheers Jim
