I cut it out with a dremel. The copper head gasket would work….if you had no other options. But after every heat cycle it had to be retorqued.
probably three times. Eventually I found the culprit. My head had a weird warp at the exhaust side water jacket. A straight edge wouldn’t show it. I couldn’t see it until I started milling the head down.
