Unhappy Buckled rims!

Hi guys,

After i put about 1500klm's on my bike i notice a slight, almost non existent wobble in the rims. I tightened the spokes, on the front and back making sure not to over tighten them.

After riding about 50klm's today to my destination the front wheel was buckled! And i had no choice but to ride back as i couldn't get a hold of anyone with a trailer.

On the way back, it just kept getting worse! The cops even pulled me over to tell me. They said even the back rim had a slight buckle too.

I have done barley any offroading yet, just a few dirt tracks with no bumps at all. Is this under waranty? (i doubt it is). I know i need new rims now so any ideas on that?

Thanks for any advice guys.

Something has gone wrong with the spoke tightening.
Too tight or too loose?
You need to have both wheels checked.
Take them to a shop so they can re-tension all the spokes and possible true up the rims.
If they are buckled too much, you will need new rims.

I'd imagine it'd be under warranty, you have a one-year unlimited mileage warranty from the factory.
