Default Broken Tail Light Weld - How to Fix?

Hi, The weld on the tail light broke under the weight of the over sized light. Ok maybe that's because I had to bend it back into place a couple times. Has anyone replaced the tail lights on their 06-07 with an after market product that dosen't require the metal tab to be there and doesn't require replacing the rear fender? Ideas and suggestions are welcomed (yes, I could find someone to weld it back, but what fun would that be?).

I has been done. Some folks on here replaced their oversized blinkers with some low-profile ones that attach to the fender.

One of the welds broke on mine, I just went and got it re-welded on both sides of the bracket. Now its even tougher than before.

Ive gt a stock rear fender w tailight assembly in it that is for sale...I am putting it along with a lot o other parts(w pictures) in the classified ads as we speak!

Hit me up if you are interested!!! I swapped out the stock rear fender for a kx fender and an electrosport taillight n blinkers all around. Lots of customization but looks killer!

Good luck!

MAXX

You mean the rear turn signal.

When I read that I was like "huh?...tail light bracket??, you mean the fender broke?"
