I am new here, it's my first post.

i am french (sorry for my english lol), living in kenya (a paradise for off road adventure ), i am the owner of a klx 250 1993 , i bought it to explore the country side, but it mounted with sf wheel 17". i am not a fan of sf , i coming from the enduro world.

My issue is , i want to change the wheel, let me tell the rims to pass on 21" front and 18" rear. Here it's very difficult to find kawasaki parts. So i want to change the rims and re spoke them or finding maybe wheels from another bike and put them. IS IT POSSIBLE ?

I AM COMPLETELY LOST with the hubs , the rims ect....

Is it possible to change the rims and to re spoke them?

What size of rims do i have to find?

KX wheels can they fit my klx ? knowing i don't have speedo on the klx, and that i found a guy who is selling kx wheels.

Check eBay for a 21 18 set will be your cheapest bet that will fit

 

Kawasaki used the same front hub design on multiple models, so if you find a 90s KX motocross bike the rim and spokes may lace up on your hub. If you find a KDX200-220 front wheel or any KLX front wheel up to 2009 it will likely bolt on the KLX, because they both have the speedometer drive.. Same with rear hubs, many KX and all KDX/KLX models used the same rear hub, just have to make sure the KX has the 18" rim, newer ones have 19s.
