Default The Big Christmas party...............

My GF started a new job last year working at the Hammock Beach Resort. It's a golf resort and it's owned by a guy named Bobby Ginn. Last year we went to the christmas party at the Mariott in Orlando. There were 4000 people at the party, everyone received a room for the night the dinner was filet mignon, seafood pasta, lobster tails, rice veggies. I had never been to such a large event with good food. Ussually, the food stinks when there's a huge crowd. Last year John O'Hurley from Seinfeld was the host and they had several bands like Kool and the Gang.

I know, you're wondering what this has to do with motorcycles. A few weeks ago my GF told me that Ricky Carmichael would be attending and that he was going to work for Bobby Ginn. I had heard rumors that Ricky was considering NASCAR, but never knew if it was true. Anyway, Bobby Ginn bought MB2 Motorsports which owns several Nextel Cup cars including the US Army car.

Last week I was watching the Supercross in Vancouver, and after winning Ricky thanked Ginn Motorsports. Apparantly, Ricky will begin training shortly here in Daytona and it won't be long until we see him rubbing paint with the big boys.

Here's an article about MB2 Motorsports: http://www.topix.net/content/trb/408...12670553747438

I've been looking forward to this party all year, it's really great to see a company which takes care of employees. They give away the "Ginnovator of the year" award at the party. Last year the first place winner received $20,000 and a weeks vacation for him and his family in the Bahamas. Hmmm........ I wonder if my GF is a nominee? What would she do with that money?

Howie Mandel is the host this year [:'(], and the B52's will be performing . It should be a good time.

I'll let you know if Ricky gets out of hand at the party.

Wow, that sounds awesome! You ought to tuck your KLX seat cover in your jacket with a sharpie in case you bump into RC and you could ask him if he would sign it - that'd look pretty cool, but you might want to hang it on the wall instead. He is the GOAT after all! Hey, he used to ride a Kawi, so he probably wouldn't mind the green.

Sullydirt,

Are you sure you had my address correct? I haven't received my invitation yet!

The Heck with the dang seat cover, get one of those white side panels autographed by "The Kid!" He's pretty good, I saw him take Bubba to task this past weekend up in Canada!

Not making excuses, but Stewart was kind of injured.

They're both outstanding riders and I'm looking forward to the next race!
