Default Been done? Dirt Rider Project KLX300R?

I hadn't seen reference to this article mentioned so here it is:

2020 Kawasaki KLX300R Project Bike Riding Impression | Dirt Rider

The new KLX300R off road model is basically similar to the '06\'07 KLX250S model in the suspension department...11+ inches on both ends instead of 10"\9" on the later KLX250S and current KLX300S models. Makes for a more dirt oriented platform IMO. Of course we're dealing with FI now instead of the carbed '06\'07 model 250's, but this project bike is much like what I did with my '06 model KLX250S...36mm pumper carb, 300cc factory cylinder, Muzzy exhaust, and Race Tech suspension tweaks to the OEM suspension.

I wish Kawasaki would have carried over the 11+ inches of suspension travel on the new 300S model from the 300R model, but they didn't. That little difference in the suspension really improves the off road capability of the S-models. I'm relatively sure that most don't really take their S-models into really challenging off road situations, so I get it that many "short-leggers" and mostly pavement riders on the S-models prefer a shorter bike.

Still, it's nice to see that the 300R can be modded in much the same way that we did with the '06\'07 S-models...improved fuel delivery(pumper carb/FI mod), exhaust mods, and suspension improvements. Sure, some of this can still be done with the 300S models, but that 11+ inches of travel is a nice addition to see still retained in the R-model
