Default anyone else notice increased vibration?

I have about 3800 miles on the bike, and lately I've noticed increased vibration. It's hard to explain the way it actually feels, but it's mostly during acceleration, and it feels like the engine, or tranny is, "tight"-if that makes any sense. There are no increases in noise, the bike runs the same-something just feels strange. It may only be that the "newness" of the bike has worn off, and instead of being overwhelmed with "love"-I'm now starting to pick it apart-just like we do with our women after the initial puppy love wears off. It goes from this[sm=loveeyes.gif]..to this [sm=bicker.gif]

You know since I changed out my back tire there are times on low rpm;s and turning or not I notice what feels like there is something rubbing on the back tire or the chain is doing something weird. I wonder if we can take up one notch on the chain adjuster just to see if it goes away, it might be chain slop vibration. Hey is anyone here using a 45 tooth back sprocket and the chain guard? Just curious. The dealer said when the chain stretches I can get the adjuster out of the way so the guard can go back on. I actually like the guard and the way it looks, plus it keeps some of the mud off me LOL I know I need help.

Think motor mount bolts
And then check all bolts and nut for tightness

Checked motor mount bolts, swingarm bolts, all kinds of bolts-I did discover the fork clamp bolts were loose. I'm happy to have made that discovery, but I'm sure that wasn't the problem. I also thought wheel bearings, but they seem to be ok-although the front has flung some grease out..has anyone else noticed this?

How much vibration are you talking about? Is it subtle, maybe a little bit more than usual, but you're not too sure and maybe its a little more or maybe its your imagination? Or is it a definite, yeah, that thing it really shaking a whole lot more and doesn't sound healthy - something seriously not right? If the latter, you might want to take it to your dealer. It should still be under warranty and if it's something serious like the counter balancer or something, you'll want to get that looked at right away.

Check your oil level. If you went even the slightest amount over full it will vibrate considerably more, been there, done that.

A couple of weeks ago I was riding my XL and my son was on my KLX, while following him I noticed the the chain was doing a dance while going down the road. I could hear it from where I was but you couldn't hear it on the bike. I usually run the chain a little loose rather than tight. After tightening the chain up a little the noise and vibration went away.
Don't know if this is what you were experiencing but thought I'd throw in a little useless information.
