On my bike even with the correct jetting, with the airbox lid removed it ran like a dog ***. I have a 340 big bore and the snorkel out and only run a dj 124 and stock 35 pilot. Full two brothers too.

Arctra.....if I get the 2206 kit will it come with the #38 pilot and the #128 main? Also most people on here are talking about drilling out the hole on the slider. Your signature says holes filled? Could you explain that for me? Also are you about 2.5 turns out on your air screw like most people are saying on here?

The DJ kit does not come with a pilot jet.
The Ozzie bikes come with more holes in them than North American models. You need to fill one hole and drill out the other. If you use the search function you will get all the info you need. You can save some money if you just purchase the OEM jets. I would get hold of WestAus and get some info from him.

Ok any idea where I can get a #38 pilot jet......I am in canada and the Kawasaki dealer here says all they can get is a #35???? Should I be asking for the 09 model and not the 2010? Would they be the same?

Pretty much what redpillar said. You will need to get the pilot jet seperately. WestOzKLX was kind enough to provide this info:

As for the number of turns on the screw, it varies based on where I ride, but it's about 2.5 turns out, yeah. Pretty much perfect IMO, but there are a few others that seem to be running the #40 jet with a similar number of turns out on the screw. Given I ride at altitude at times I would rather have a smaller jet (that still lets me idle decently and not stall at traffic lights) than a bigger richer jet.

So the #38 part number is 920641119. It is NOT a standard KLX part - my dealer said it was a KX250 model number I believe. But the fact that it's the same type carb you will have no problem.

As for "research" - take a look at my thread here where a lot of guys answered questions for me: https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=32454
