Default Aggressive Dual Sport Tire

Just put a Michelin AC-10 tire on the rear. The 110/100 fits nicely and cost $53 at bike bandit. It is more aggressive than the D606 and it is fairly quiet on pavement. I hope it wears well. As far as offroad traction goes, it's outstanding. I was climbing steep, rocky. It's a true "DOT Knobby".

Great in the intermediate to soft terrain but the 606 is better on the hard dirt IMHO. It wore really fast on our dry terrain. I swapped it for a 606 in a 120 section.

I got the Kenda TMII's and they're awesome up here in the NE.

I have been impressed with my dunlop 606. Good traction in the mud and hard dirt, and it has worn well on the pavement. I just ordered a new 606, went with the 130mm wide this time. Some say it's too much tire, I'm curious to see how it feels.

Wait, wat?? Good traction in the mud? The 606 is the worst in the mud - especially the front tire! It's scary in anything soft!

I have been using the Kenda K270. Those damn things just won't wear out. 5k miles and still good tread. And thats about 80% pavement riding.

I'm talking rear tires, but you may have me there cuz. I can only compare the 606 to the stocker that came on the "07" , but between those two the 606 was much better, and I have been happy with the way it handles the mud, (and every where else). I have no experience with the front 606.
How's the wear on those TMII's, and how much pavement do you ride with them?

Oh yah, they're definitely better than the stock tires! The rears aren't tooo bad, but if you ride in soft stuff often check out the TMII..

This is my second set since I've had the bike, I do more off-road than pavement, but they don't wear exceptionally quick or anything. Maybe a little quicker than the 606's? I don't know, no hard #'s...

Also I got them both for $105 including mounting - the Dunlops would have been about $50-60 more.

been using the 270's for years on my 650, aired down they really work well off road, aired up great on the road. A little noisy, but "loud tires save lives". Got a set on order for the klx so we'll see.
