Adding Bark busters to Stock Bars
Sounds simple enough but I can't get the slip collar into the bar ends.
I tried drilling and once I get through the rubber I hit metal. I can stick a screwdriver up the end several inches but a half inch drill bit doesn't want to go and I don't want to push it.
Is there a trick???

I would go over to www.rockymoutainatvmc.com and pick me out a set of tusk cR high bends, then install that and my new bark busters together. The stock handle bars are steel and have a 1970's bend. The Tusk bars are lightweight and feel so much better than stock, plus i think you can ****** you up a pair for 30 american dollars.

I've got a set of used renthal bars that needs to be cleaned up. I'm looking for a reason to swap them out anyway. If I screw up the tapping, which I already might have,.....there's my excuse!
i had alot of trouble out of mine also. they didnt line up right to the bar so it was pretty tough. let's just say i threw some glue on there and used a few other cheap tricks, but they're on now
