Exclamation Acerbis 4.5 gallon tank!

Will the tank for the KLX650R fit the 07 KLX250?
It may need a little work. Any thoughts?

Even if you get it to fit, I think you still won't be able to use all the fuel in the wings unless you install some sort of pump.

I've seen some pics of the top end postie run and some of the guys are running Xr Safari tanks. As long as the tank isn't too small it should be possible. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a cheap 2nd hander.

Might be doable. I'll let you have a go at it and watch the results....I'm good that way!

Well maybe I was a little harsh, but I hate the look without the shrouds on and those thick wings. And to not be able to use some of the gas that's stuck in there, well that's just nonsense. That's like Getting a rebate check from the govt and having them tax 40% of it.........or something like that. LOL

Just think with all that extra weight up front you could do some sick stoppies, on the other hand you would need to run 13/50 gearing to pull a wheelie.

Agreed. One the reasons why I still have the stock fuel tank still on mine.
