2009klx250s clarke $ Acerbis tanks
 

I emailed these guy's to see what was in the works :(


As of now we do not have a tank specifically for that bike in the works.
For Acerbis Italy to create a new tank it has to be popular worldwide
not just in US. I am not even sure of this bike is available in Europe.

But from what I have been told our tank that fit the KLX250/300 will
work on the KLX250s. I think the only issue of the petcock aims the
wrong way and it is green. But they say it fits and people have been
ordering them lately. I am sure you can find a write up about it on one
of the many forums on your bike.

Huh? Do some searching in this forum... There are currently 3 tank options for our bikes...
The Clarke is made specifically for the KLX250S... Acerbis and IMS also make tanks for KLX300 that work on our bike (KLX300 is the same frame, and damn near the same bike).

Sorry, you said 09... Im not sure whos actually installed aftermarket tanks on the '09.
I don't think the Acerbis will be any problem at all. You toss your stock shrouds so the 2009 plastics change don't make any difference.. ;)

There may be issues with IMS and Clarke due to the changes in the shroud plastics.

Klx 300 stock tank and a set of aftermarket shrouds Maier shrouds in a color of your choice should work fine..the stock klx 300 tank is 2.6 gallons.

I bet that green acerbis would look sweet on a red 09 ;)
