2009 KLX250SF whines

My KLX250SF whines @ 60 mph in 6th gear. If I let off of the throttle the whining stops. The bike has 31,000 miles but has not whined until recently the last two rides.

It sounds like a gear whine. Has anyone had a whine like this one?
