Based on the schematic I have, that is one of the leads from the crankshaft sensor.
See if this helps any:

Thank you I already have that service manual I have another complete stator rectifier and crankshaft positioning sensor. I swapped it out and it’s still the same thing. I also compared the resistance to both and they’re pretty much on the money. It’s kind of thrown me for a loop now because if you hook up all the grounds to where they should be cleaned everything’s making good contact when you hook up the negative side of the battery like normal tail light headlight comes on, but it loses power to the orange wire that connects to the black with the white striped wire for the coil and if you take the ground off the battery you’ll get power back to the coil to the orange wire I pulled the wire harness last night opened it up. I don’t see anything that was cut rubbed of that sword pulled out the ignition check that everything’s good kick stand safety switch bypass neutral safety switch good Killswitch good the safety switch for the clutch bypass. There’s anything else you can think of would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I do have a new coil showing up today so we’ll see what happens. I don’t think it’s the coil, but I’ve been wrong before.
