My first tank at real low RPMs just putting around was 82mpg (!!), but now that I'm broken in, it's averaging about 60, and that's maybe 50% rocky/sandy/scramble and 50% on-road getting there. Overall, really good IMHO. Would like a bigger tank, though
Im about 215 lbs.....Driving mostly 58-74mph back and forth to work this week my new mpg is 63.4.....Also ran a thicker weight full synthetic oil then called for 15/50.....
Figured with the average temp of 80+ and the higher rpmz plus 250 miles from now it goes to the dealer for her 600 miles.....
This week back and forth to work I might take off the front fender and radiator cowls and see what I get without the drag factor...I bet 2-3 mpg....

I have to think around 450 miles and running 93 octane my bike is in luv....
Call it less wind or a rod bearing slip but she sure wanted to blip speeds into the 80z with easeeeeeeeeeeeeee tonight with more throttle left...........

Update...
Two top-offs and I've gotten 80 MPG almsot on the dot. BIke has about 360 miles on it. Again, 90% gravel/dirt/pavement and a few trips through the mud / offroad / around the yard in the trees, slippin' the clutch at 2 mph.
