Could I please ask somebody to measure their 2007's front brake line with a piece of string or something?

I found a local place that makes stainless steel lines, but the line installed by the PO is too short so I can't use its measurements

 

Does anybody know the length of the front brake line for KLX250x is??

I had another $100 line made, but it's too short to work. I'd appreciate some help.

 

Are you using the stock set up where there is a metal line running under the axle?

If so, consider doing what some KLX650 riders have done with a similar set up. They do a thing called the CR wrap, removing that metal line , running a brake line down about mid way on the fork guard, then wrapping it around the inside with a banjo fitting on the end to attach to the caliper.



This gets the line away from being crushed by a rock.

You can possibly use the line you had made if it is long enough. You can run your line you have down there to see if it is long enough. Otherwise, go buy about 6 feet of plastic tubing at a hardware store for about two bucks to pattern what you need.

My 250 is an 09 so I can't help there. I think my 650 line is same length, but Kaw shows a different number. The fork guards and general front end are similar.

2012 KLX250S stock line is : 4 feet 6 inches long.

not sure what length would need to be cut, factoring in the fittings. but that is the length of a 2012 KLX250s front brake line.

I recently installed a set of Spiegler s.s brake lines.

My line is 4 feet 6 inches...I'm assuming stock is longer and the PO ended up buying a line for an 08+.
