2007 klx 250s, dj2152 jet kit w/ fmf q4 stock header, lidless with uni filter

Just wanted to finally thank KLXSTER and KLX678 for the spot on advice.
a dj2152 on 2n and a 136 main jet works prime on the 2007 klx 250 lidless and a q4 for an 06 klx 250s ( perfect fit btw). i got it in, and on last month on my birthday. Im sitting two turns out on my a/f screw at 2k asl ( not 3k asl like i had said) and it really did wake the bike up. as far as i can tell the low end (idle to 4k) didnt change much, but at 6k and up theres a huge difference in power throughout.

I took it to a local spot with hills, valleys and flats last weekend and it really impressed me.

thanks again guys

ps anyone in NW OK needs to hit "luck of the draw". pm me for info!

Hey Nick, you likey that biggy top end powah eh..? I did calculate the 136/2N for 3K ASL, but you won't be too lean at 2K ASL.. Actually, you won't be too lean all the way down to sea level - you'll just give up 1 or 2 horsepower down that low.. And you should be good for up to, about, 4K ASL as is...

is a 38 pilot jet too small these bikes?

Tacoma, in Rome, NY, you really should get a #40. But if you already have a #38, it might do, if you can get a rich idle drop when turning out the fuel screw..
