2007 fmf powercore HELP
 

Trying to order one, I ordered one for an 09. Can someone please tell me the 07 and 09 have the same frame etc. I bought the powerbomb for an 09 and that is a perfect match. THANKS in advance

09 was a redesign, header should be the same but not the slip on.

Yeah I think the mounting of the muffler is slightly different on the 09 ? it may still fit, as the KLX300 muffler fits the 09 to my knowledge.

Get a ss universal wrap around muffler hanger if nothing else works

FMF lists the same header for both models but there are different p/n's for the muffler. I think that there may be a small difference on the can mount but I don't think it would be insurmountable(did I really say that???}

My '98 300 muffler lined right up with the mounting holes on my '12, as did my FMF PCIV.

Thanks Guys, I was going to send back, order an 06 powercore. Instead decided to TIG a 1 inch piece os stainless onto silencer cut some clamp notches and we're good to go. I love the sound and performance increase.
