Default 2007 cutting out at low speed, neutral light dies

Hello, this is my first post but I've read a lot on this forum over the few years I've had my KLX. This is the first issue I've had that wasn't self explanatory. The bike was running great for about 20 minutes of road riding, then I took the back way onto my property and was cruising around my trails in first and second gear. It cut out a couple times when going through some slow, steep corners. Got it back to the garage and put it in neutral and watched the neutral light and tach go out right before the bike stalled. Fired it up again and revved it a little, and the neutral light and tach died right before the engine cut out. Does this sound like a clutch/neutral/kickstand sensor or is this a wiring issue? I couldn't find anything that showed the neutral light cutting out before the engine cut out. Thanks

I checked the connections for the clutch and kickstand switches, and all of the connections under the seat to make sure everything is secure. After messing with the cutout switches, my problem really sounds like the bike is cutting ignition. The tach completely cuts out just before the engine dies. Has anyone ever had a bad clutch switch that caused these problems? Both switches tested fine with an ohmmeter, but maybe its an intermittent thing. Any input is appreciated.

For me looks like a dead battery or generator/voltage regulator fault.
I had situation when bike was stalling at low speeds when radiator fan was switching on. That was after I put weak battery from 100cc scooter (had no other choice). Replaced battery with standard and problem gone.

I haven't had any more issues with this happening. Maybe it was a bad connection at one of the switches. I also checked all connections under the seat and by the headlight, so maybe one of those was the problem. If it happens again I'll update this thread.

There was something about adding a ground wire on the KLXs. I did it on my bike so long ago I don't remember exactly where it did it. Do a search on KLX250 ground wire and see if you can find information on line. You might need to change up the search to KLX250 ground problems or the like to find what it is. I don't know if it is in the "stickies" in the KLX250S sub-forum here or not. I'm sure the information is here, just not sure where.
