If you're asking why he answered some KTM it's because Duke is a KTM model name (there are several KTM Duke line models) and "duke" also sounds like the first part of "Ducati".
What I am getting at, is that I call HD's thumpers and you don't have too. Others call twins, dukes, it is weird but you going to have to accept that to me, HD's are thumpers.

Exactly. Calling Harleys thumpers is like me saying that from now on I shall call my KLX a Honda, and you're just going to have to understand that to me it is a Honda.

Also for the record I have never heard anybody call a twin a duke before.
