I've read a few threads here talking about installing pre '09 rear susp. links to bring the '09 rear up to pre '09 travel. Has anyone tried this? And by chance does anyone have oem links they'd be interested in selling that they may have removed to lower their bike? thx

I have not tried this as of yet but I ordered rear links from langston racing. Just waiting on them they say there all backordered or something. Anyway I'm gonna give it a try along with putting in fork bleeders from the 07'. Not to sure how the 07 links is gonna change the travel on the front though.

thanks. I'm looking at the stock links if I do it. Upon further investigating, there appears to be fork spacers internally that once removed, bring the front fork up to pre '09 levels.

I was reading over on ThumperTalk and came across a discussion on links. They tried 115mm links on a klx300 (117 stock) and it raised the bike about 5/8. So going from 119 to 117 should be the same.
