07 KLX250S Stuttering/Jerking?

I just got an 07 KLX250s basically brand new with about 350 miles on it and I've only rode it 3 times so far. However, last night when I took it around the neighborhood at slow speeds (to get used to the bike) it started jerking like it was running out of gas or something. The weird part is that the night before it was running fine with no issues at all. The gas level was fine and the fuel line was turned to ON.

Any ideas what this could be? I'm still a newb so hopefully it's just something dumb and nothing serious.

Thank you!

Just a guess, I've seen a lot of problems from old ethanol gas. I would start by draining the tank and carb bowl. Has the bike had any mods done to it yet?
good luck

1+ You may have to remove the carb and really clean the passages, it may idle but not rev well as one passage or another is blocked.

You may want to make sure the fuel was turned on and not going to reserve. In addition run a bit more RPM too, a single will start to chug and buck if you're at too low an rpm. Seems around 2000-2500 when giving throttle is the stumbling point for my past experiences. If you still have problems then the carb may need cleaned out.

"07... 350 miles...

Fuel needs to be replaced, and carb probably needs a very thorough cleaning!
