deej you crack me up, that little wood platform on the end of your kickstand is a hoot, it goes everywere with you eh?

Well I guess I need to explain the piece of wood that my kickstand sits on. Last summer when it was really hot out I parked at a friends house and was talking to him about his hot rod, and 15 minutes later the kickstand sank into the blacktop about 2 inches and the bike fell over, incidentally in 3950 miles that is the first and so far the only time the bike has been down. Anyway I figured out why the bike seems to have more of a lean, its because of the 606 which is taller than the 603 by about one inch. That is enough to make the bike lean farther than normal. So I came up with this block of wood. And no I don't take it everywhere with me, but at home I use it in the gravel and grass to prevent another tip over. And you guys thought I used it to keep dirt off the stand..........ok so that's an added benefit, I'm just saying

 

I talked to the stealer here and they said the same thing so i will be looking for a nice green 07 or 06 when people start selling to buy the new ones (if that actually happens) Course those new plastics sure are purty.[8D] I love our KLX's but I still want something I can take a little further down the road.
