Default Klx 250 cooling problems

Hello guys/women

I'm e new member here and im driving the kawasaki 250 1996.

First I have to say sorry for the use of my bad English, you know. Unfortunately nobody is perfect, and you'll have to read it as it is of course.

Now, I am having some troubles with the bike.

Last week me and my friend were replacing the join De culasse of the bike since we were having trouble with some oil mixed in our cool water.

So off we went and we prepared the klx for repla ing the joint en etc...the 250 engine is bored to 300cc so this means that we had to buy the 300joint De culasse, and for the remaining joints everything stays the same so 250cc joints.

After reassembling the bike we were ready to fire it up.And of course we kicked the starter and it fired up easily. Great idle of the engine after playing with the airscrew...perfect.

But after few minutes the bike apparently makes pressure in the water/ cooling system and it pushes water away through the overflow tube, which is located above the rear heel.

How is this possible. It's not normal, maybe we made a mistake, maybe not.we have some doubts about the thermostat, which is missing and not installed. The reason for this we actually don't know.which is the purpose of not installing the thermostat. Does anyone know this?

And also, is this maybe the reasonn why the klx 250 makes pressure in the cooling system and pushes his water away through the overflow tube?

I hope somebody can tell me more about the troubles we are having with the klx250/300

Thx for listening and reading.

Help us out thank you guys
