Battery Issues

Please help!!!
i have a Kawasaki Brute Force 750 year 2012. I have been having battery issues for awhile. I was thinking it was a bad battery all along until recently. I purchased a new battery before I went camping. I was riding and having a good time. Night fell, my buddy and I was cutting wood in the dark. I left my four wheeler running while having the lights on so we could see what we were doing. About a half hour in, my four wheeler died. I was thinking it over heated so I waited around 15-20 minutes for it to cool down only to find out the battery completely drained.
I have been investigating why this is happening. I have searched the web and watched multiple you tube videos on the whole charging system only to explore dead ends.
Results include: voltage from stator 15.4 volts AC, voltage out of rectifier 16.2 volts DC, voltage at battery 12 volts and dropping constantly while wheeler running. I have witnessed the battery drop to 11.5 volts while running. And yes I reconnected the rectifier. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

yes, needed up being a burn wire on my stator. If I remember correctly it is a 3 wire system. Make sure you are getting same volts from each wire.
