I am new to the site. I ride a 06' 700 Prairie with about 900 miles on it and my belt light came on. The belt is fine, I just don't know the sequence to reset the light.

Can anyone help me?

I also have an 06 KVF 700 Team Green Special Edition. I only have 100 km on my machine but after reading the owners manual and looking at other forums, it looks like the belt light comes on automatically after 100 hours. I did find another site that lists a very comprehensive method for resetting the light. The web address iswww.atvpt.com/beltlightreset.htm. Good luck and let us know how that works out for you.

 

Thanks Pikester. I will let you know how it works out. My husband is going to try it tomorrow. I also have the service manual coming in the mail. I will let you know if it's different.
