Mojave 110

I have a 1986Kawasaki Mojave 110 it starts great as the engine warms the idle speed continues to rise until its reveing. It wont throttle down. Throttle cable assembly has all been cleaned and lubed. Please help!

maybe the choke slide is sticking?? and welcome to KF

It’s running lean. That will happen when it’s running out of gas or the float needs adjusting.
