i got an older 87' ninja 750R. and i get a rattling noise when cold. i've adjusted the valve gap and all that checks out and rechecked it twice now[:'(]. measured the cam chain and its still within spec. im pretty sure the cam chain tensioner is good too. now the weird part when i start it up it doesnt always make the noise, once rev it it'll start making the rattle/click noise but once it warms up it goes away. i've got the motor out right now and i'm on the verge of takin the head off and checking the valve springs next but i wanna get some input before i go and do all that.
