need more power
 
well if you look at my sig down bottom you will see all my mods..
I'm looking to make a few more Hp's for cheep money. does anyone know of a good inexpensive mod. in the $200 range??
I was looking to do [sm=nxsmile.gif] but to much money.. and I don't like the elongated effects of nos[:@]

Ian do a full exaust header, try to drop weight, e****aly rolling weight or mass. 1 oz rolling eguals 4 oz of regular sprung weight. That will help you accel/brake better. Keep a good tune all the time. You could do stage three when you do a header. There are a few diffrent oil viscostys that alow a little more crank speed = more hp but usualy 1 to 2 % gain at a high coast. I do Know a poor boy nitros system but wont give details here.

ohh don't hold out on me...

what could I do to the bike to make it weigh less?? I don't wanna loose the rear pegs.
also want to keep it street legal
getting rid of rotating mass is big bucks, rotors, wheels [:'(]

Not always buy a step drill bit coast 35 dolars, and inlarge rear holes in rotor, will reguire rebalance of wheel. Also remove it from wheel drill one side,then flip it over ,and do the other side,the bit is steped so it chamfers the rotor at the same time. Do not go over approx 1000 rpms switch rotor positions each hole to keep from warping ,use a 2 by 12 board for lying the rotor on, drill a 1" hole in the board so the step bit is not going into the wood. alow the bit to cool every 3rd hole use a little wd-40 to aid drilling/lubing. Use brake clean then a quick hand pass with 200 grit sand paper to insure no burrs that will destroy the pads. I did this and made my rotor 6 oz lighter some others have done 1+ pound ,but I wanted still good rear brake power. Dont do this to the front you need the stoping power there, My new rear tire is 1.5 lb lighter than the stock one. So get a scale 25+lb capacity and go to your local shop and smile. I also bought a 7 amp hour batery that is 5 lb lighter than stock 14 amp hour,I use it only on 100 mile or less rides/drag racing because it is half the size I dont trust it for full time duty. I had to solider a 6gauge wire to it with crimp conectors to hock up to stock batt cables. Remove tool kit,and the pegs the pass pegs are around 1.2 lb including bracket,and just reinstall when a passenger is going to ride. A alum hard anodized rear sprocket can save about 1.5 lb of rotating weight, Ti bolt kits/ alum kits in non critical areas are good ,but $. Dont forget to relocktite rear rotor upon instal to the wheel RED pacakage. I hope this keeps you busy for a day or so.
