98 Mule 2510 Ignition Pulse Coils

Hi all. New member here, long time grease monkey. I just picked up a 1998 2510 Mule, KAF620. Mice got to the wiring and ate the pulse coil and generator harness flush to the cover, so I just finished pulling the driveshaft and surveying the damage.

Are there any alternatives for the pulse coils? I read that on the older mules some of the parts interchange for locally available commercial mower parts, but there were no specifics to back it up. I'm having a hard time sourcing a replacement.

Good news I was able to fire the starter and get the motor to turn over so it's at least not locked up.

Any advice would be great. I'm trying to hold off on spending too much on the old setup until I know it's worth saving. If it takes more than a few hundred to get the old girl running I may just go for the predator 670 swap

Did you ever get this issue resolved? I am in the same situation needed the pulsing coils but cant find them.
Thanks,
Dan

I did, I used a part I crossed over from commercial mowers. It was 59026-0048. I needed to swap the location of the pins in the connector, but other than that it was bolt on. I don't remember where I needed to move them but you can just make it match what you have and you should be ok
